Can I withdraw from a College Now course?
Yes, a student can withdraw from a College Now course. While students in the College Now program have the option to withdraw from a course if necessary, it is important to understand that this decision should not be taken lightly. Students are expected to complete all courses for which they register, as a part of the commitment to academic responsibility and personal growth.
Before making the decision to withdraw, students must consult with both their course instructor and their high school liaison or College Now representative. This ensures that the decision is well-informed and takes into account the full range of academic and personal factors involved. If you decide to proceed with a withdrawal, it is crucial to notify your instructor as early as possible. An official withdrawal form must be submitted to the City College of New York鈥檚 College Now Program Office by the deadline outlined in the CN Student Handbook. Failure to adhere to these procedures may result in an incomplete or failing grade for the course.
