Do I still have to see my departmental advisor?
Yes, your ASAP Advisor does not replace your departmental advisor. Your ASAP Advisor is a supplemental advisor who guides your academic progress toward graduation, as allotted by the CUNY ASAP program.
Financial Aid
Do I need to apply for the FAFSA and Pell Grant?
Both financial aid packages are not necessary; however, you will need to be awarded at least one to qualify for the tuition gap waiver. We do advise you to apply for both, even if you know you will get denied, so that we can see the results of the decision.
