Summer 2026  | Program Dates: June 23rd - July 24th |  Credits: 3 - 6

Buenos Aires is one of the great Latin American cities with cultural and artistic venues. Argentina is a very cosmopolitan and multicultural country. This offers students the chance to experience a rich and unique urban lifestyle. Argentina combines cosmopolitan features with uniquely local forms of sociability. Studying in Buenos Aires allows you to immerse yourself in a new culture and cuisine while enhancing your language skills. Students will be exposed to the broader regional and transnational Latin American culture of the 21st century.

Courses

 offers a variety of courses in the Spanish language and electives taught in English. Choose three to six credits from the list below:

  • Human Rights 
  • Politics of Arts 
  • Revolutionary Women in Latin America 
  • Spanish as a Second Language 
Argentine National Palace, Obelisco, and El caminito, depicted in different colors

 Field trips include: Tour of Buenos Aires, Espacio de la Memoria, Sede de Madres & Plaza de Mayo, Evita Museum, Fundación Jorge Luis Borges, excursion and barbeque at a traditional Argentine Gaucho ranch, and CGT - Central de Trabajadores

You must apply and register through the CCNY Study Abroad Office. Online registration will not be available. Participants will transfer the credits from UNTREF. The course and credit will appear on your transcript.

  • Deadline for all Application Materials: April 2026
  • Interview with Study Abroad: April 15th -17th, 2025 
  • Pre-Departure Orientation: May 21, 2026 at 12:00pm 
  • Deadline for payment of Program costs and CUNY - Tuition: May 22, 2026

Costs
  • Application Fee: $300
  • CCNY Tuition: 3 - 6 Credits ($305 or higher per credit) 
  • *Program Fees: $1,650
  • Airfare: $1,200 (Estimated)

*Program cost includes homestays/ housing, 2 meals a day, and excursions. Airfare is not included.
