Roberto Ruiz is a senior at the City College of New York who mostly studies modern French intellectual history and how it intersected with French colonialism and the broader world, with a special interest in Franco-American post-war intellectual history. As part of the City College fellowship, Roberto will be studying the post-war divergence of Négritude and its relation to contemporary Black American political thought. When he’s not reading about France and Fanon, Roberto finds comfort in long walks.
