Marina Milea, upcoming junior and City College Fellow, is majoring in biology and minoring in Chemistry. Previously pre-med, she discovered her love for the lab during an internship at the Institute of Cancer Research (London) in her senior year of high school. Following her undergraduate education, she aims to enter a PhD program in biomedical research with applications in women鈥檚 health. Her current research interests involve mechanisms driving reproductive disorders and developing new therapies to mitigate chronic pain. At City College, she has discovered a newfound passion for teaching through her mentorship roles in the Science Mentoring Program (SMP), Dean鈥檚 Science Success Coach, Mathematics Tutor, and Vice President of TriBeta Biological Honors Society.
