Favour Overo is majoring in anthropology and English. Her research focuses on the role of prophecy in Nigerian Pentecostalism, with a specific emphasis on its connection to the indigenous religions of the area. She is also interested in the psychological effects of prophecy and its use as a tool for creating social order. Raised in the church, she is fascinated by the ways in which religion shapes belief not only in God but in other people. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking and making music.
